The collaboration will also enable Liebherr to better understand the processes required to assemble Hadrian X® robots onto US truck bases, with a view to progressing the broader relationship that is continuing to be investigated under the Memorandum of Understanding, including the potential for the mutually beneficial commercialisation of Wall as a Service® in the US market. The parties have accordingly agreed to extend the Memorandum of Understanding by a further 12 months to 1 March 2026.

Liebherr to assist FBR develop Hadrian assembly plant in the US

FBR has entered into an agreement with Liebherr-Mischtechnik GmbH to support the localization and assembly of our Hadrian X® robots in the US!

This collaboration marks the first step in establishing a complete assembly plant for Hadrian X® in the US, significantly reducing the time to manufacture each unit. Initially, robotic modules will be produced in Australia and assembled in the US, with plans to eventually manufacture more components locally. This will enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and simplify servicing for our US customers.

Liebherr's extensive experience and expanding network of manufacturing plants in the US make them the perfect partner to assist us in this endeavour. Their support will help us accelerate the scaling of our Wall as a Service® (WaaS®) operations in the US market.

Stephen Albrecht, Managing Director of Liebherr-International AG commented: “The impressive performance of FBR’s Hadrian X® machines during field trials in the US market has strengthened our belief that the Hadrian X® is the most advanced and commercially viable fully automated construction robot available today. We are looking forward to progressing our relationship with FBR and supporting them in the successful commercialisation of Wall as a Service® in the US and the rest of the world.”
